Our latest Baldwin Park closing was a special one for us and not because of a specific milestone or how smooth it was; rather because it was a great example of ๐๐ค๐ฌ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ & ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐จ ๐ค๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐ฃ๐ช๐ข๐๐ง๐ค๐ช๐จ ๐ง๐ค๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ค๐๐ ๐จ ๐๐ก๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ. It was also a great example of how working together as a partnership with your sellers ultimately leads to crossing the finish line in the luxury market (or any market for that matter).
After receiving multiple offers and going under contract on day 1 for almost full list price, we would then fall out of contract 3 days later because the buyers had a change of heart. We reached out to the other offers, but they had all moved on already and found other properties. We were disheartened & disappointed, but we were optimistic given our initial interest.
Well, we would go under contract 2 more times and fall out of contract 2 more times due to loss of financing on one and a job change for the other buyers.

We are so incredibly grateful that these sellers chose to work with us and weโre also feeling a little bittersweet this time of year as they always had some of the best Halloween & Christmas decorations in the whole neighborhood. ๐๐
THE BOTTOM LINE
You can't just trust any Realtor out there to sell your home. It takes more than some nice photos, listing them on the MLS, and hoping an agent will bring a buyer. We ended up spending well over $10,000 to market this home (between paying for staging, the video crew from Miami, pro photos, online & print ads, etc.) to ensure that it garnered the exposure it deserved and needed.
